Dr. Cornel West Painting

I have been listening to Dr. West for years and I thought now is the time to immortalize him in a painting that would be worthy of his stature. As I was working, putting down the strokes in the foreground and background, I let the potency of his words guide my hand. I blasted the canvas with strong elegant strokes while continuously adding soft gentle marks that flowed around the canvas.
